Cherry the Cello is a short and sweet little book for young children about a little six-year-old girl who learns to play the cello. It's based on the true story of Jane's daughter, Promise, and of, course, her cello Cherry.
Though short, this book might just inspire your young child to want to play an instrument. In the back of the book you can read a little from Promise, who is now (almost) all grown up, and from her mom, Jane, the author. It seems Promise grew up in a very musical family.
