Introducing Yoplait Frozen Smoothies and a New Contest!

Congrats to my winner Julieanne!!!

Did you know that 70% of us don't eat the recommended 2 servings of fruit each day?  I know I don't always eat two servings, even though I love fruit.  One way I love to eat fruit is smoothies.  Yum!

There's a really easy way to make smoothies with Yoplaits Frozen Smoothies.  Each package of Yoplait Frozen Smoothies contains one full serving of fruit (1/2 cup) and only 110 to 120 calories per serving when made with skim milk. They also contain live and active cultures provided by Yoplait® yogurt and are a great source of calcium!  They come in four flavors:  Blueberry Pomegranate, Triple Berry, Strawberry Banana, and Strawberry Mango Pineapple.

Would you like to try one of these yummy smoothies?  Well, here's a coupon to get you started!  And if you're really lucky, you'll not only win coupons for two more free smoothies, you'll get a brand new Kitchen Aid blender to make them in, complete with a special smoothie button!

  &l t;/param>

To enter the contest, just tell me what flavor you'd like to try.  My fave is the triple berry.  Then you can get an extra entry if you follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or Google Friend Connect. (See my sidebar.)   Just leave me an additional comment telling me you do.  (One for each way you follow, for up to three addtional entries.)  Leave three additional comments telling me you're a Feedburner subscriber and you'll get three more entries.  (Of course, you actually have to BE a Feedburner subscriber, not just tell me you are.)

The only other thing I ask is that you don't enter if you are in my immediate family or are not yet 18 years old.  To win, you must enter by 11:59 PM on Friday, December 10, 2010.

Note:  The prize pack, information, and giveaway have all been provided by Yoplait and KitchenAid through MyBlogSpark.

Have a Taco Night, and win a Taco Night Prize Pack!!!

The winner has been chosen!!!  Congrats to Michelle Smith!!!

Hey there everyone!!!  I know it's been a while since I've had a contest, so here you go!!!  This time I am giving away an Old El Paso prize pack!  Check it out below.  EXCITING NOTE!!!  THE PRIZE PACK ALSO INCLUDES A $10 VISA GIFTCARD TO HELP PAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR YUMMY TACO DINNER!!!

As part of this promotion, I was sent one of these prize packs.  I actually didn't use the taco seasoning for tacos; I used it for burritos.  Please do not tell.  :)  Still, it was yummy nonetheless.  I have not used the cute chip and dip tray or serving dishes.  I teach beginning Spanish at out homeschool co-op and I thought I'd put them aside for our next fiesta!  (Funny thing, my class is smaller than my family, so this will work out perfectly!  LOL)

You can actually use the Old El Paso seasoning for all kinds of things.  Here's something different.  How about fish tacos?  Check out the recipe here.  Wanna add a little fun to your taco night?  Check out El Tacodar on the El Paso website.

Would you like a coupon to help defray the cost of your taco night?  Download it here.

Now, if you are 18 or older, and not in my immediate family, how about entering the contest?  It's easy!  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me how you would use the Old El Paso seasoning if you won it.  This is mandatory.  If you want additional entries, follow me with Google Friend Connect or "like" me on Facebook.  Leave a comment telling me how you follow me and you will get that extra entry.  If you do both, be sure to leave TWO additional comments so you get credit for doing both!  :)

Also, since I love sending my posts right to your e-mail inbox, I will give you THREE additional entries if you become a Feedburner subscriber.   Just leave THREE comments telling me you subscribed.  (So, each reader can get up to six entries!)

The contest will end Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11:59 pm Eastern time.  I'll choose a winner at http://www.random.org/ and annouce it within a few days.

NOTE:  The coupon, information, and prize package for giveaway were all provided by Old El Paso through MyBlogSpark.

Time for another contest!

How would you like to win a Good Earth gift pack that includes a Good Earth Mediterranean Chicken dry dinner kit, two sets of bamboo flatware, two bamboo dishes, a bamboo utility board and a 100% recyclable grocery tote?  (These are really  nice, I got one too!)

Well, we'll get to that in a minute.  First let me tell you about the Good Earth dinner kit!

Coming to stores this month, Good Earth dry dinner kits offer a selection of four delectable meals: Mediterranean Chicken with angel hair pasta, Spicy Citrus Glazed Shrimp with angel hair pasta, Herb Crusted Chicken with mushroom risotto and Tuscan Chicken with penne pasta.

These kits let you make a very nice dinner without all the work!  (My kinda dinner, let me tell you.)  The best part is that they are made with 100% whole grain, no trans fat, no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, and no MSG.  I am so glad that companies are starting to consider these things when making new products.

To win the contest you must leave a comment and a way to get in touch with you if you win.  Please let me know in your comment which of the four dinner sounds best to you.  Then, if you'd like, you can earn additional entries by becoming a Google Connect Friend, following me on Twitter, following me on Facebook, subscribling to my blog's RSS feed, or subscribing to get my posts via e-mail with  Feedburner.  If you're really motivated, you can even blog or tweet about it yourself!   If you do this, please leave a separate comment for each way you follow me or promote the contest.

Also, you must be at least 18 years old to enter, and not my immediate relative.  US and Canadian residents only please.

The contest will end Sunday, June 27 at 11:59 PM.

Thanks and good luck!!!

Become a Loser and win a Prize!!! LOL

This contest is now closed.  Congrats to Debra!!!

OK, friends, I have pledged to lose ten pounds, and I am helping to feed the hungry in the process!  No, I'm not going to give away my leftovers; I'm participating in the Pound for Pound challenge!!!  I hope you'll join me!!!  Here's some info from the folks who are sponsoring this effort:

The Kroger Co. Family of Stores, General Mills, NBC's hit TV Show "The Biggest Loser" and other key sponsors are partnering to donate up to $1,080,000 to Feeding America this year.

Here´s how you can help:

Visit http://www.pfpchallenge.com/Kroger to make your pledge to lose weight and to get more information and to find tools to change your life for the better. It is free, easy and only takes a minute to make a change that can help you and help the hungry in your local community.

Through June 30, 2010, for every pound you pledge to lose, the Pound For Pound Challenge will donate 14¢ to Feeding America® - enough to deliver one pound of groceries to a local food bank.

As the official supplier of the Biggest Loser Ranch and partner of the Pound for Pound Challenge, the Kroger Family of Stores wants to help you achieve your goals. If you´re a fan of the Biggest Loser, you may have seen several great General Mills products featured on the show. These products, including Yoplait Greek yogurt, Total, and Multigrain Cheerios, are available at your local Kroger Family of Stores and can help you stick to your weight management plan.

So are you into it?  I hope so!  I know some of you are already the perfect weight, but it' a rare person that doesn't need to lost a pound or two.

Now for the contest!  Would you like a $30 Kroger* card so you can buy some of the products that are featured on Biggest Loser?  Just leave me a comment telling me whether or not you have joined the challenge.  You don't have to tell me how many pounds you pledge to lose if you don't want to. :)   I'll accept comments until Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 11:59 PM.  Anyone can enter who is at least 18 years old and is not in my immediate family.  Of course, you'll want to be in an area where there is a store where you can use the card!  LOL  You must leave me an e-mail address or some other way for me to contact you if you win!!!

I'll also let you get an extra entry for following me on Twitter, Facebook, or as a Google Connect friend.  If you subscribe via Feedburner, I'll give you THREE extra entries.  You must leave a seperate comment for EACH of these additional entries.

Try Simply Go-Gurt! And a CONTEST!!! :)

This contest is now closed.  Congratulations to Jennifer Miller!!!  :)

Hey, this is cool! I get to give away coupons for free GoGurt to 30 people that read my blog!  Well, everyone that does not live in California, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, North Dakota or Tennessee. I'm not sure why, really, but that's the way it is folks. (If you're not one of the first 30, you can still get a $1.50 coupon.)  But do not dispair, you can still enter the contest! :) But before I tell you about that, let me tell you a little about Go-Gurt!

Here's what the Go-Gurt folks have to say:

New Simply... Go-Gurt is made from simple ingredients moms look for and contains no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors. Each convenient portable yogurt tube contains a good source of calcium and vitamin D. Simply stated, Simply... Go-Gurt is a good-for-you, low fat yogurt snack that you can feel good about giving to your kids.

New Simply... Go-Gurt is available in two kid-friendly flavors, Strawberry and Mixed Berry.

I love this idea because more and more I am thinking that I really don't want to eat (or have my kids eat) a lot of high fructose corn syrup and what I call "fake" colors and flavors.

Now, here's where those of you who live in states not mentioned above can get a coupon to try this for free! :)

Now, for the contest. Here it is:

Win the Go-Gurt "Simplify Your Life" prize pack (see pic way up on top) that includes a pocket Etch a Sketch, weekly planner, and a seat back organizer.  Fun stuff.  Not sure how the Etch a Sketch fits in there, but who's complaining!

All you have to do is enter by 11:59 pm on May 9, 2010.  To enter, just leave me a comment telling me your fave healthful snack!  Oh, and if you follow me publicly, on Twitter, or on Facebook, you can have an extra entry.  You MUST leave a separate comment, or I will not count it.  Now, I am desperately trying to get folks to sub to my Feedburner thing, so I will give FIVE yes FIVE extra entries if you sign up.  Yes, I am desperate; I already told you that!  MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE AN ADDRESS SO I CAN CONTACT YOU IF YOU WIN!!!  I'LL GIVE YOU 72 HOURS TO REPLY IF YOU WIN, THEN I HAVE TO AWARD THE PRIZE TO SOMEONE ELSE.  THAT WOULD BE SO SAD!!!

Oh, and you must be at least 18 years old and unrelated to me to enter.  Unrelated means you are not in my immediate fam or immediate family of origin.  I mean technically we are all related, so I thought I'd explain that.  :)

NOTE:  The product, information, prize pack, and/or giveaway has been provided by the brand, Yoplait through MyBlogSpark.
