The winner has been chosen!!! Congrats to Michelle Smith!!!
Hey there everyone!!! I know it's been a while since I've had a contest, so here you go!!! This time I am giving away an Old El Paso prize pack! Check it out below. EXCITING NOTE!!! THE PRIZE PACK ALSO INCLUDES A $10 VISA GIFTCARD TO HELP PAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR YUMMY TACO DINNER!!!
As part of this promotion, I was sent one of these prize packs. I actually didn't use the taco seasoning for tacos; I used it for burritos. Please do not tell. :) Still, it was yummy nonetheless. I have not used the cute chip and dip tray or serving dishes. I teach beginning Spanish at out homeschool co-op and I thought I'd put them aside for our next fiesta! (Funny thing, my class is smaller than my family, so this will work out perfectly! LOL)
You can actually use the Old El Paso seasoning for all kinds of things. Here's something different. How about fish tacos? Check out the recipe here. Wanna add a little fun to your taco night? Check out El Tacodar on the El Paso website.
Would you like a coupon to help defray the cost of your taco night? Download it here.
Now, if you are 18 or older, and not in my immediate family, how about entering the contest? It's easy! All you have to do is leave a comment telling me how you would use the Old El Paso seasoning if you won it. This is mandatory. If you want additional entries, follow me with Google Friend Connect or "like" me on Facebook. Leave a comment telling me how you follow me and you will get that extra entry. If you do both, be sure to leave TWO additional comments so you get credit for doing both! :)
Also, since I love sending my posts right to your e-mail inbox, I will give you THREE additional entries if you become a Feedburner subscriber. Just leave THREE comments telling me you subscribed. (So, each reader can get up to six entries!)
The contest will end Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11:59 pm Eastern time. I'll choose a winner at http://www.random.org/ and annouce it within a few days.
NOTE: The coupon, information, and prize package for giveaway were all provided by Old El Paso through MyBlogSpark.
I would love to win this Old El Paso taco night prize pack. We'd use the seasoning for chicken tacos.

We might try chicken tacos, but due to my finicky girl eaters we might have to stick with plain old beef. Although they would REALLY love those trays.

I would add some chicken breast and the seasoning packet along with a bit of water to the crockpot, then shred the chicken up and freeze it! Thanks for sharing your blog!

ReplyDeleteIf we were to win, we would use this for chicken soft tacos. Unless it took a while for the prize to arrive and we had venison in the freezer again--then we would choose to make venison soft tacos! :)
