I just found out about something I didn't even know was going on. Apparently, in an effort to bring back wholesome TV to prime-time, Walmart and Proctor and Gamble are sponsoring what they call Family Movie Nights. Tonight on NBC at 8:00 (7:00 Central) they will be showing Game Time: Tacking the Past. I have to admit, I was actually amazed that this movie is going to be on TV. It's all about honor and integrity. They even show a family (gasp!) praying around the table! What a breath of fresh air.
Now, you might ask, how I have seen this movie already. Well, I'm special of course! LOL But seriously, I am now going to be doing reviews for propeller, and in this instance I had access to a special pre-broadcast online viewing.
Since this movie is showing tonight, I want to get the word out quickly, so I'm going to make this brief. As you might suspect, this movie is about football. Well, not really, it's about making right decisions, with football as the backdrop. Now, I'm not a football fan, but I do seem to like football movies. This movie was no exception. It's bascially about a guy who has gone pro, but suddenly finds himself back home and with family. Through a sudden turn of events, he ends up having to make the choice between staying home and continuing a pro career. Happy movie watching!!!
