This is just a quick post to let you know about a fun way to spend more quality time with your family. It's called the Million Minute Family Challenge. The idea is the brainstorm of the folks at a game company called Patch Products. The company creates and sells games that you might be familiar with, such as Farkle and Buzz Word.
To get involved just head on over to the website and sign up. Then, every time your family or group plays a game, log on your total minutes played. Create a personal goal for minutes played, while helping reach the goal of one million minutes played for all participants involved. The challenge runs from September to the end of the year.
I should note that while I'm sure a big part of this site is to help promote games from Patch, you are never obligated to buy anything and you can log in minutes from any game you play. (Well, I don't think video games count.) The idea is to just get people to have some good old-fashioned fun.
